Ojo Maduekwe, former minister of foreign affairs, has died. He was aged 71. The cause of his death is not clear as the former minister is not know to suffer any terminal ailment. Maduekwe, who is from Abia state, has held several ministerial positions – notably minister of transport in the administration of former President Olusegun Obasanjo. Justice Valentine Ashi of FCT high court court 29, has sacked Ali Modu Sheriff from parading himself as the chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) by nullifying the 2014 PDP Constitution Amendment upon which he was appointed as the party chairman.
