Buhari: Turning Out To Be The Biggest Disappointment In Nigeria’s History By George Onmonya Daniel

The Buhari administration and the whole APC government is turning out to the the biggest disappointment in Nigeria’s history. Our people have a saying that the Friday that would be good you would see it since on Thursday, maybe even on Wednesday.

After over a year now I can comfortably say a thing or two about President Muhammadu Buhari extensively. I have information that even people in his administration have been complaining about his complete lack of direction and being out of tough with the reality that is Nigeria. Recently the Senate President, Bukola Saraki, spat it out that the president is no longer in charge but is in control by cabal of coterie of friends and tribesmen and women that surrounded him in Aso Rock villa. I took the Senate President seriously because before then I have heard reliable information from inside. People, yes, his supporters, some party members, have been talking and are beginning to worry. What I am saying are factual and not rumors.

Look at the rampaging Fulani herdsmen issue. They have killed a lot of Nigerians but this administration has not been able to do anything about them or known what to do. In fact these herdsmen are being pampered as if they are more equal than other Nigerians. Look at the embarrassing pictures out of the IDP camps in the North East despite all the attention given to that area. For an administration that came to power under the auspices of fighting corruption it looks like the people in this administration don’t care about Buhari’s corruption war. There was report that trailers full of food for IDPs disappeared and we haven’t heard nothing yet.

Look at the scandalous employment racketeering in Abuja. Employments seems to be going on all around but as usual it is man know man. In Central Bank of Nigeria, many were employed without due process, all children of the mighty and influential and Buhari has not issued any statement. There is the case of Interior Minister employing about 3000 Civil Defense mostly from his people and backdating their appointments letters. There is also the Federal Inland Revenue employments and many other parastatals all over and Buhari’s men are paying back by secretly employing children of their friends, families and supporters. These are also factual.

Why Buhari’s men want the Senate President out so much beats my imagination. They wants to have total control of the senate. That worries some of us. I can go on and on and on.

From budget padding, the increment in fuel price, aimless travelings here and there and the total lack of vision, yes, we don’t know where we are heading, President Muhammadu Buhari looks like he would become the worst of all the presidents since 1999.
