NCPC Boss Bags Ambassador Of America University For Global Peace Award

The Executive Secretary of the Nigeria Christian Pilgrim Commission, Rev. Yakubu Pam has been conferred as Ambassador of America University for Global Peace, USA by the Board of Nelson Mandela Noble Peace Award on 12th July, 2012 in his office at the NCPC Corporate Headquarters, Abuja.

Rev Pam explained that the Nelson Mandela Noble Peace Award stands for Justice and fairness. In his words, “Nelson Mandella fought for peace and justice and the liberation of human race and your board is doing the same at this time our country is in dare need for peace”.

The NCPC boss affirmed that religious fanatism is one of the greatest challenges we face as a nation. He called on religious leaders to use religion to correct the mistakes of the past and build the nation. According to him, “lets come together to fight the evil that has befall us and rebuild Nigeria”.

The NCPC Scribe thanked them for honouring him with the Ambassador of America University for Global Peace, USA. He promised to partner and support the Nelson Mandela Noble Peace Award Board in order to promote peace in the country. In his words, “we will work together, we will share our wealth of experience for the purpose of peace and national development”. He equally commended President Muhamad Buhari for finding him worth worthy of the appointment.

Earlier, the National Chairman of the Nelson Mandela Noble Peace Award Board, Apostle Chuks Alozie congratulated the NCPC boss for his appointment as the Executive Secretary of the Nigeria Christian Pilgrim Commission. According to him, “this is a well-deserved appointment”.

He lauded the NCPC boss for his pursuit for peace building over the years. In his words, “your peace efforts and activities is what have brought us to your office to share ideas with you as regards to peace and nation building”.

Apostle Alozie informed the NCPC boss that he has been chosen to serve as the National Facilitator at the forth coming National Peace Summit which would be led by the Chairman and Founder of the America University for Global Peace, Prof. Madhu Karishan.

He was also nominated for a global conference which would hold in August, 2021 in Dubai, United Arab Emirate.
