Abuja-based journalist, Comrade Ebriku John Friday, has been officially confirmed as Ex-Officio 1 in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) chapter of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ). The decision was approved by the Comrade Grace Ike-led leadership of the union at the Congress of Saturday, April 12, 2025, recognising Ebriku’s contributions to journalism both in Abuja and across Nigeria.
